Frequently asked questions

What is the AI Listing Optimizer?

A tool that turns product facts — a product URL, product images, or manual details — into a complete listing: SEO title, descriptions, ad copy, and more. Every field stays editable, and facts the system cannot support are flagged instead of invented.

Do I need an account?

Yes. The optimizer requires signing in. Accounts start free with 3 lifetime generations. Signing up takes an email and a password; passwords are stored as scrypt hashes, never in plain text.

What is a generation?

One successful generation of a full listing package, or one regenerated section. Generations rejected before the quota gate (bad input, rate limit, entitlement) and failed generations consume nothing. Copying, manual editing, and reopening a saved listing are free.

How does the Starter daily limit work?

Starter ($4.99/month) allows up to 20 successful generations per UTC day. The quota resets at 00:00 UTC, and unused daily generations do not roll over to the next day.

What does Unlimited mean?

Unlimited ($19.99/month) has no daily generation limit. The only safeguards are technical: per-request rate limits, bulk jobs capped at 50 products per job, and abuse prevention. There is no hidden daily cap.

What happens to my saved listings if I cancel?

Nothing — saved products and generated versions stay in your account on every plan, including Free after a subscription ends. Cancelling only stops new paid generations; it never deletes your content.

What happens if AI generation is not configured yet?

Generation returns setup instructions instead of a listing. Nothing is simulated, and the optimizer page states the configuration status honestly.

What happens to my product images?

Uploaded images are validated on the server. They are saved only once image storage is configured; until then, product attributes you enter are still saved with the product.

How does billing work?

Through PayPal subscriptions only: Starter $4.99/month or Unlimited $19.99/month. A plan upgrades only after PayPal confirms the subscription through a verified webhook — clicking the PayPal button or reaching the success page grants nothing on its own. Until live PayPal credentials are configured, no payment is taken and subscribe buttons stay disabled.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, anytime — from your account billing page (once billing is configured) or directly in PayPal. Access continues until the end of the paid period, then the plan drops to Free. Your saved products and listings stay in your account.

What happens if I forget my password?

Password recovery is implemented but email-gated: until transactional email is configured, recovery emails cannot be sent. This is stated on the recovery page rather than hidden.

Does Funlag have an API?

Not yet. API access is planned and is not exposed as active anywhere on the site.

Who runs Funlag?

Funlag is an independent software product. Company details are added to the legal pages as they are established; nothing on this site invents a registration number, address, or certification.
